Judge Dredd Netflix Series+Sequel?

Judge Dredd is arguably one of the most famous comic book characters to have ever been birthed into the world by someone other than MARVEL & DC. With such an iconic look & attitude towards justice it is hard to disagree with the fact that Dredd is perfect movie material. "So why have there only been two unrelated movies then?" you may ask. Well, don't worry, for if you enjoyed the 2012 reboot of the franchise starring Karl Urban then you may be in luck.
An online petition for the creation of a sequel to 2012's DREDD currently has over 145,000 signatures. The petition is asking NETFLIX to produce either an online DREDD series or a sequel film to the 2012 production. With the success of series' such as Daredevil & Jessica Jones, it'd make sense for Netflix to give the go ahead for this live action comic book adaptation, especially if they want to compete with the big players in Hollywood.
The project even has the blessing of Dredd himself, Karl Urban. You can help make this highly demanded sequel a reality by taking place in the petition yourself by clicking HERE.
