The Joker from Brian Bolland & Alan Moore's 1988 graphic novel, The Killing Joke
The Joker as he appears in DC & WB's The Killing Joker movie trailer

The Killing Joker is among one of the most iconic graphic novels of our time & is a pivotal moment in the Batman mythos. For this reason it is not surprising that the story is getting an adaptation in the form of an animated film releasing in July of this year. The film is set to feature big names such as Kevin Conroy as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Ray Wise as Commissioner James Gordon, Tara Strong as Barbara Gordon/Batgirl &, possibly the most exciting of the cast, Mark Hamill as the Joker.

About three weeks ago we were treated to a teaser trailer for the upcoming animated epic, which was all fine & dandy but most people wanted a more in-depth trailer with more dialogue. Luckily for us, DC & Warner Bros delivered, giving us a second trailer full to the brim with action & finishing off with Hamill's amazing & truly chilling Joker cackle:

Now all we have to do is wait until July... So what do you think of this trailer? Will you be seeing The Killing Joke when it comes out, or are cartoons not really your thing? Sound off in the comments section below or contact us on Twitter at @NerdGeekAwesome
